“Reflec.tions” is a series of work that invites the viewer to explore the interplay of past & present, through the translation of traditional art form into modern functionality.

Reflecting, reinventing, and translating a past painting or design that originally intended to serve in a two-dimensional plane, becomes the foreground and inspiration for creating a new piece of art that seamlessly integrates into our contemporary surroundings, with a new functional presence.

The mirror’s surface not only offers a literal reflection but also metaphorically symbolizes a narrative for the viewer about self-perception through history.
